FAQ's About The Pole Barn!
*What level should I enroll in?
Please enroll in any of our intro level classes.
Your instructor will suggest if you are ready to move to the next level.
Please read the descriptions for all of our classes to know what level it is and whether it has a pre-requisite.
*Can I drop-in to a class?
Sorry, we do not allow drop-ins.
We require all individuals to register and enroll in advance.
This helps us to maintain the safety of our studio and ensure everyone has their own apparatus in class.
We are unable to process new student enrollment before class due to limited staffing onsite.
*How early can I arrive to class?
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your class. The doors will remain locked until this time.
If you have arrived early, please wait until a staff member unlocks the door.
If you have arrived late, please ring the doorbell located directly next to the door handle
and someone will let you into the studio.
*What should I wear?
For pole, less is more, as you need skin contact on the pole.
Some students also prefer to dance with tall socks and/or knee pads.
High heels are not required, but are welcome if you would like to wear them.
Only pole specific shoes are allowed - no street heels, please.
In aerial silks, more coverage with tighter fit clothing is best, as this will help you avoid rope burns.
Typical workout gear will work for all lessons that we offer. Please wear what you are comfortable with.
Please do not wear street shoes past the front door and socks are always optional.
*Are men allowed?
YES! Individuals of all identities are allowed and welcome to attend lessons.
Our studio is inclusive of all and welcoming of anyone that wants to participate!
*What ages can attend?
Classes are designed for 14+ years of age.
Participants under 18 must have their parent register them and sign a waiver.
We also have youth classes, which include age 6-13.
*Do you have a weight limit?
Our aerial silks are rigged to hold up to 5,000LBS!
We take safety very seriously and all of our rigging far exceeds typical recommendations for the industry.
Our poles are Platinum Stages, which are the best in the business competition quality. We do not set a weight limit for taking our pole classes due to the quality of our poles. Inspection of all our equipment is preformed before each class to ensure the safety of our students.
*Where should I park?
Downtown Stillwater can be tricky on tourist days (during events) but the great news is there are over 1,600 parking spots downtown. Please consider arriving early to ensure you find a parking space. Most of the parking downtown is FREE for up to 3-4 hours of parking.
We are located on the corner of Chestnut and Water Street near the historic Lift Bridge. Please see the attached parking information link below for more info!

*Can I create an account for my friend or family member?
No, we require all individuals to create their own accounts due to legal & liability reasons.
We require accurate information for all attendees, including a signed waiver prior to attending.
Only guardians can create an account for their minor/child.
*Can I buy my friend a class and surprise them with it?
You can purchase two separate full price passes. We can then apply one of your passes to their account transferring it from your account.
Your friend will need to create their own account before attending a class.
For legal reasons, they must create their own account and sign their own waiver.
We can reserve two spaces in class and also help your friend to create an account after they arrive.
If you choose this option, both spaces are non-refundable if you and/or your friend do not attend the class.
*Can I call and speak to someone over the phone?
We prefer to communicate via email and are able to respond to your inquiries much faster this way.
*What if I need to cancel my enrollment?
You can unenroll from class on the Pike13 website or on our app.
This process is the same as the one you used to enroll.
If you need to cancel with short notice, please email the studio right away to inform us.
If you are cancelling within the 12 hour winds prior to the start of class, you can unenroll without penalty and will be able to use that pass for another class, as long as it hasn't exceeded its expiration.
If you need assistance with cancellations, we can also provide you with instructions on how to do this.
*Can someone come and just watch, but not pay?
Everyone in attendance must pay regardless of their participation.
Also out of respect for all others, we don't allow spectators.
If someone wants to attend, but has limitations, we do our best to provide modifications and
activities that are appropriate for their comfort level and abilities.
